Therapy
What Is Therapy?
Therapy is a reflective and relational process. It offers a safe, confidential space to explore your experiences without judgement. Together, we may look at:

-
Emotional patterns and triggers
-
Past experiences that continue to influence you
-
Anxiety, low mood, or burnout
-
Self-esteem and identity
-
Relationship dynamics
-
Nervous system regulation
-
The impact of ADHD on your emotional world.
Unlike coaching, therapy may involve exploring the past to understand the present. We move at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.

What Does Therapy Involve?
Every therapeutic journey is unique. However, our work may include:
-
Deep Exploration: Understanding the roots of recurring thoughts, feelings, or behaviours.
-
Emotional Processing: Making space for feelings that may have been avoided, suppressed, or misunderstood.
-
Pattern Awareness: Identifying cycles in relationships, work, or self-talk.
-
Developing Self-Compassion: Shifting from self-criticism to understanding.
-
Regulation & Grounding: Building tools to support your nervous system and emotional stability.
-
Integration: Connecting insight with meaningful change in your daily life.
Therapeutic Approach
As a clinical psychologist, I use an integrative approach. The models I may use to inform our work are:
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
-
Mindfulness.
-
Mentalisation Based Therapy
-
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
-
Narrative Therapy.

What It’s Like to Work With Me
Our sessions will focus on creating a safe, non-judgemental, and reflective space. I will listen carefully, reflect patterns that I notice and gently guide you into exploring areas that are likely emotional and complex. We will create a space where you can slow down, feel understood and gradually develop deeper self-awareness and resilience.

Therapy & ADHD Coaching
Some clients choose therapy, some choose ADHD coaching, and some move between the two at different stages.

-
Therapy focuses on emotional depth, healing, and understanding patterns.
-
ADHD Coaching focuses on structure, skills, and forward-focused change.
