Dr Laura Hammond
HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist and Qualified ADHD Coach
About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist by background, with many years of experience working with people who experience a wide range of psychological difficulties. Over time, it became clear to me that for many individuals, these difficulties had arisen from underlying and unrecognised neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ADHD.

I noticed that without understanding, acknowledgement, and the right support, many people with ADHD grow up feeling misunderstood, lost, or fundamentally different from others—experiences that can contribute to further psychological distress.

I have extensive experience conducting ADHD assessments and have witnessed the relief and clarity that a diagnosis can bring. While understanding ADHD is often the first step, many people need additional support to move beyond survival, unlearn unhelpful coping strategies or beliefs, and begin to thrive. Alongside my own personal experiences, this led me to specialise in ADHD and to offer therapeutic interventions that support meaningful, lasting change.
