Our Approach

Hello, and welcome to ADHD Pathways. Our work is centred around a specialism in ADHD, and supporting adults to manage their symptoms through non-medical means. Our approach begins with providing you with a detailed initial assessment to understand how ADHD shows up in your life and what you are finding most challenging. Together, we identify your goals and agree on the most helpful intervention, whether that is ADHD-focused therapy or practical coaching support.

About me

My name is Dr Laura Hammond and I am a Clinical Psychologist by background, with many years of experience working with people who experience a wide range of psychological difficulties. Through this work and personal experience, I noticed that without understanding, acknowledgement, and the right support, many people with ADHD grow up feeling misunderstood, lost, or fundamentally different from others—experiences that can contribute to further psychological distress.

While understanding ADHD is often the first step, many people need additional support to move beyond survival, unlearn unhelpful coping strategies or beliefs, and begin to thrive. â€‹â€‹
